It seems that rail trails such as the proposed Boyne Burnett Inland Rail Trail have appeal to a wide range of the population from across the world.

A friend was researching a holiday in Italy and came across a website describing a trail there.
They say:
“What they did was to turn the train track into a 25 kilometer long cycling path, with stunning views and many lovely little towns (places like Santo Stefano al Mare) along the way. “
Except for the town names and trail length, where does this sound like?
Scroll about half way down to the heading “It was good before but now it’s way better!” and read about a trail in Italy.

If Italy can do it surely we can.
